Alessa Cucina & Bar in downtown NYC is a fresh & vibrant spot to meet with friends and get refreshments at. Recently opened in the heart of New York City, this vibrant restaurant brings the warmth of Italian hospitality to the Penn District. Alessa is a standout storefront on the monochrome street, featuring vivid BOWERI Foresta green porcelain wall tile on it's facade - creating a serpentine mirror for cars and passerby's. You can judge this book by it's cover, because stepping inside you are greeted with a remarkably sophisticated-but-inviting interior, insulating you from the hustle and bustle of the city just feet away.
The first floor features exquisite artwork, beautiful tile, and a sprawling bar. The basement is a darker and more intimate space, with dark blue ceilings and walls, and EMOTION wood-look porcelain tile on the floor. The second story has balcony seating, vaulted ceilings & a stunning black marble bar counter, with our pristine GEOMETRIC white mosaic on the backsplash. TONE WOOD wood-look porcelain parquet tile floors create geometric dimension, contributing to a space that feels impossibly large & welcoming in such a tightly-packed city.
